The Club
Hooker & Boys Leather & Levi Club was formed by a group of close friends and Leather titleholders who united in 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland to raise funds for charity as part of their Titleholder responsibilities. As a result, The 12 Days of Christmas was born, and Hooker & Boys became established as a community-based invitation-only Leather & Levi Club.
The Organization
H & B Ministries is dedicated to serving the community by providing essential support through fundraising initiatives, i and community-driven events. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
In 2022, H&B Ministries filed to incorporate as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt organization as, H&B Ministries, Inc. with a stated purpose of providing charitable assistance through fundraising, grants, and events to the LGBTQIAA+ communities.

AIDS Action Baltimore, Inc. (AAB) is dedicated to providing patient services for all people in Baltimore City regardless of race, religion, age, disabilities, sexual orientation, gender or non-confirming gender, including emergency financial assistance, HIV education, testing assistance, navigation support for healthcare linkage, retention in care, medication adherence and access support, HIV prevention services, including outreach efforts and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication access.

The Frederick Center is a 501c3 organization that serves the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) communities. Since its inception, The Frederick Center has grown into a well-respected organization advocating and supporting our community which now proudly bolsters over 500 program events each year.
The Pride Center of Maryland (PCOM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring Maryland’s sexual and gender minority communities (LGBTQ+/SGL (same-gender-loving) have equal access to care, services, and a space to be their authentic selves. We offer over 30 programs and services that reflect our dedication to this objective, including education, advocacy, and support for individuals, families, and allies.
PCOM’s organizational structure is led by CEO Cleo Manago, who has provided leadership regarding sexual minorities, particularly minority health concerns nationally, for over two decades. PCOM’s Board of Directors consists of individual representatives of the populations PCOM serves, oversees the CEO, sets policy, provides program development input, and conducts strategic planning. PCOM’s financial management system is led by Alice Reynolds.
As a long-standing fixture within Baltimore and Maryland, PCOM remains committed to staying relevant within our ever-evolving culture and society. In February 2019, the Board of Directors voted to change the name to “The PRIDE Center of Maryland.” This name change underscores our unwavering dedication to a more contemporary framework that does not repeat tendencies to replicate one dominating culture, not neglecting the diverse histories and experiences representing the human family.
PCOM, previously known as GLCCB, has convened the Baltimore Pride Festival, the largest cultural event in Maryland, for over 40 years. The Baltimore Pride Festival now attracts over 100,000 diverse people annually, raises awareness on LGBTQ/SGL (same-gender-loving) issues, and provides a platform for entertainment, affirmation, advocacy, action, and the prevention of threats to well-being, justice, and self-conceptual health.
Since 2021, PCOM has held over 100 special events in addition to our regular monthly programming, including the Silver Circle for elders to mingle, self-defense and fitness workshops, and Transcend – a spectrum of programs, services, social support, and safe space for trans and non-binary identified individuals.
PCOM also offers Youth Making-Change and Evolving (YME) for youth ages 13-34. YME offers a safe space for SGM youth to lead, learn, grow, and connect to opportunities for support and resources.
While PCOM’s headquarters are based in Baltimore, the agency has a presence throughout the state, including in Prince George’s, Montgomery, Frederick, and Charles counties, and conducts outreach and education activities within those counties, working with local organizations and city councils to meet the demand for Pride-related advocacy and affirmation.
The Hagerstown Hopes Story
In 2012 Hagerstown Hopes was developed to become a non-profit organization to bridge the gap between the straight and LGBTQ+ community of Hagerstown. It was founded and privately funded by Anna Bowers to get it off the ground. With Anna Bowers guidance and the assistance of Todd Garnand and others, Hagerstown Hopes held its first festival in June of that year with an attendance of roughly 100 people and 20 vendors.
In 2013, Hagerstown Hopes become officially registered with the IRS as a non-profit and the name was trademarked. An official Board of Directors was established. Fundraising ideas were developed and implemented, the festival more than doubled in size of attendance, we acquired more vendors and more elaborate lineup of entertainment.
Currently we are developing more ways to reach people in the community. We plan to develop more fund raisers as well as more social events throughout the year. We’re also developing ways for people to be able to donate to and sponsor Hagerstown Hopes. Without the support of people and businesses in the community we would not be able to expand and grow
